Blessings Templo Calvario Family and Friends,

Our Pastoral team and church staff have been closely monitoring the news and spread of the COVID-19 virus (also known as Coronavirus). We have full confidence that God is in control of everything and we do not walk in fear; However, we also want to take every precaution to care for the most vulnerable people of our congregation. As a result we are complying with the guidelines set by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA), and the regulation’s set by Governor Gavin Newsom.

In order to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect our most vulnerable we will not continue to meet in our church building for scheduled services. We do however want to clarify that we are NOT canceling church, instead we will be doing church differently for the rest of March. Although this may come as as a disappointment to some of you, we want to assure you that our church will still continue. We are taking this situation as an exciting time to have church and discipleship at home with our families as well as an opportunity to expand God’s kingdom to people who may never have stepped into our building.

We will continue to LiveStream our services at their regularly scheduled times and are working to provide you with resources for you, your children, and your youth.

At times like this, it is important we lean our faith and remain thoughtful in our faithfulness. We would like to encourage every one of our members to keep pressing to be faithful in our tithes and offering. Although we may not be meeting in person to physically give our offering and tithe, there are other ways that you can still contribute. You can give tithes or offerings through the Templo Calvario app under the Donate/Tithe button, by texting “Give” to 714-479-2262, or visit our website at www.tcsocal.com and click on the “Give” tab. You can make a one-time payment or set-up a recurring payment through any of these options. As always, you may mail in or drop off your offerings to the church office.

We are thankful that a building has never been an impediment for God to move or his Kingdom to expand. As Rev. Eugene Cho stated on Twitter: “Remember that when the Church began with Pentecost, there were no buildings, fancy productions, pews, or spotlights. It was just people, the Holy Spirit, and the glorious Gospel. The building may be closed but Church is still alive!”.

We want to remind you of God’s word in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline”. We hold on to our hope in Jesus Christ and his promises that this too shall pass.

Please continue to follow us on our Social Media platforms for updates, resources, and changes. As always, if you have any questions please feel free to call the church offices at 714-834-9331 or email us at receptionist@tcsocal.com

In His service and yours,
